During this unprecedented time, we have all experienced changes in our daily lives; from where we work to how we work, as well as restrictions on our activities. All of these changes and the underlying stress affect our bodies in a multitude of ways. These patterns slowly become normalized so that they are hard to feel. Over time they impact our bodies and new, unexpected aches and pains appear seemingly without any cause.
Now that it is safe to receive massage with the right protocols in place, we can begin to acknowledge and unwind these patterns to aid in achieving and maintaining overall health. The studio is fully compliant with the NY Forward guidelines. There have been some minor changes to the foyer to facilitate appropriate spacing. The practitioners will make all efforts to stagger their scheduling to minimize crossover in the foyer. Thirty minutes between each client allows time to implement the cleaning protocols. Medical grade air filters and fans provide circulation of clean air and the foyer and equipment are sanitized between each client. Masks and hand sanitizer are available.
My hope is that the massage experience will not feel very different. During the massage a hammock is connected to the face cradle to catch any aerosols, so that a mask does not need to be worn while face down. Clean masks are provided to be put on before you turn over.
I look forward to facilitating greater health and ease in your body.
